Oxygen, Glucose and NO

Blue Box Sensors was established as a spin-out from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth in 2009. We produce implantable micro sensors that allow long term measurements of NO, O2 or glucose in awake and freely moving animals.

The sensors use electro-chemistry to measure the compounds of interest. As there is more to electrochemistry than just buying a sensor, we have put together completely integrated systems, with the necessary acquisition hardware and software. We aim to provide you with the highest level of technical service and support so that even if you are new to this field you can start using our sensors.
