Nitric Oxide Sensor Starter Bundle
The Nitric Oxide sensor starter bundle is designed to offer you a complete system with all the necessary components to start monitoring nitric oxide in vivo.
The nitric oxide sensor was designed for implantation in the rodent brain, and is based on the specialized annealing of Nafion® on the surface of Platinum/Iridium wire (175µm diameter). This works on the principle of a three electrode system. Thus, the starter bundle contains 5 Nitric Oxide sensors, 5 auxiliary and 5 reference electrode.
Our sensors work on the principle of constant potential amperometry, therefore a potentiostat is required to deliver the specific constant potential to the sensor (+900mV for Nitric Oxide). Blue Box Sensors have partnered with eDAQ to provide complete solutions for your sensor recording needs. This starter bundle includes a single channel potentiostat. The potentiostat connects to the data acquisition system which connects to a computer by USB. We supply eDAQ’s popular e-corder range for this purpose. This bundle includes the e-corder-210 two channel data recording systems and comes complete with Chart and Scope software.
